Cilantro Saru/ Kothambari Palle Saru

Kothambari Pallo is cilantro. I had a whole bunch in fridge and my mom reminded me of kothambari palle saru, chuntey and tambli. The first thing I prepared was saru. Came out perfect and both of us liked it :). A quick recipe during busy days !

1/2 bunch cilantro
1/4 cup grated coconut
3 red chillies
1/2 teaspoon tamarind extract
1 cup water
1 teaspoon jaggery powder
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
4-5 curry leaves
1 tablespoon oil

Wash cilantro and keep few strands aside. 
Grind coriander leaves with grated coconut, red chillies and tamarind extract.
Add one cup water to the paste and bring it to boil. Add salt and jaggery.
Garnish with coriander leaves which were kept aside.
Prepare a seasoning with oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Pour it on the gravy.
Serve hot with rice.
