Spicy Potato/ Batata Song

Batata song is a very spicy dish prepared mainly with boiled potato and coconut, usually served with rice and dalitoy. I have seen people preparing this differently. When this is prepared during any auspicious occasions we do not use onion in it. This recipe is from my aunt. This can be had even with neer dosa.

Oven Baked White Pomfret

The only fish I like is white pomfret. We both wanted to try something new than our usual konkani style fish curry. I had some store bought fish masala. It was of "grand ma's" brand. I added some spices of my choice to it and this came out better than I expected. 

Black Eyed Peas Ridge Gourd Curry/ Poddale Randayi

I always have few different types of beans stocked up. Black eyed peas is one among those. We call it as "alasande bi" in konkani. Ridge gourd and black eyed peas are the best combination I have liked. Again this dish has the main ingredient coconut in it. These types of curry goes well with boiled rice.
